i) Start To Live in the Present: Make a decision to live five minutes at a time. Don't think of long-range tasks, think about now and try to use up a five minute period doing what you want.
ii) The best antidote for procrastination is to Take Action Now. e.g. Quit Smoking Now ! Begin your diet Now ! Give up booze this second ! Stop reading this email and do one push up towards your health goal !
As Nike Says - Just Do it. (Now !)
iii) Ask Yourself 'What is the worst thing that could happen to me if I did what I am putting off right now?'
iv) Stop Focusing on Perfectionism. Remember there is nothing like Perfection. Instead Focus on Improvement.
Because Perfection is the biggest excuse for Procrastination.
v) Have a Strong Accountable Partner for Your Goal Achieving Actions. A partner whom you respect and trust. And Develop a Structure of Accountability with Your Partner.
Promise Yourself Today and Everyday,
That I am Doer.
I take Charge of My life
And Take Actions Now !
